What Is Jiu Jitsu?

 

This powerful art allows a smaller weaker individual to defend themselves against a much larger, attacker. Jiu Jitsu uses leverage and pressure leading to neutralization and submission. This allows us to scale the violence as necessary. Indeed we can simply neutralize the attack of an unruly drunk or we can choke a violent attacker unconscious.

 

Not only that Jiu Jitsu is a lifetime sport, tremendous hobby and excellent way to improve your​ fitness.
 

At 570 you will become a part of a community who support and encourage one another to reach their goals and become the best version of themselves!

If you’ve never trained BJJ before or you’re relatively new to the sport, our beginners classes are the place for you. These classes focus on developing essential BJJ skills and fitness, in a safe and enjoyable training environment. And don’t worry… everyone in these classes is just starting out on their BJJ journey, so you’ll be part of a class full of likeminded people.
